The all new IES Series 200 Gauge brings, for the first time to the commercial oil and gas industry, U.S. military advances in miniature, high shock, high speed data recorders. Designing and building high tech, custom electronic recording devices, exclusively for military test programs, has been the business of IES since 1987. We are excited to bring you these advances in technology with the new Series 200 Gauge. Not only can this down-hole gauge sample data at much higher speeds than the industry standard, but it can do it in severe, hostile shock and vibration environments generated by explosive pressures. The Series 200 Gauge not only records pressure and temperature data, but can be used to measure tool movement and force/vibration environments up to +/- 50,000 G's. This exclusive feature of the IES Gauge is very useful in monitoring the environment in which the gauge is located. Bob Haney has been working in the oilfield service industry for more than 30 years, and is available for expert analysis with the data retrieved using this gauge. He has spent the last 15 years working on high speed data which includes acquisition, processing, and analysis. Mr. Haney has processed and analyzed more than 2000 high speed events including - perforating, propellant stimulation, extreme over balance, extreme under balance, dynamic under balance, hydraulic fracturing, and various combinations of these types of events. Twenty (20) hours of his time is provided free of charge to the customer with each gauge that is purchased. After that he will be available at an hourly rate. He will also be available for any questions regarding recorder set up, programming of the gauge (trigger levels, sample rates and time windows, etc.), and data processing and analysis. Please contact him at bhaney@shaw.ca or (403) 261-7855 for any questions that you may have regarding this matter.
